While the keynote speaker for NAIMUN XLVI has not yet been confirmed, past conferences have featured many prominent speakers, during Opening Ceremonies and in smaller settings with specific committees. Diplomats from the United States government and the international community, specialists from think tanks and non-profit organizations, and prominent Georgetown University professors have spoken to delegates on pertinent world issues, often giving delegates the unique opportunity to engage in further dialogue during Q&A sessions.

Ban Ki Moon - At the time of his election as Secretary-General, Mr. Ban was his country's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade. His long tenure with the Ministry included postings in New Delhi, Washington D.C. and Vienna, and responsibility for a variety of portfolios, including Foreign Policy Adviser to the President, Chief National Security Adviser to the President, Deputy Minister for Policy Planning and Director-General of American Affairs.
