Dear Delegates,

Welcome to NAIMUN XLVIII’s Councils, Summits and Courts. We applaud you on your choice to join us as we prepare for what is going to be a truly enriching and engaging weekend. This organ undoubtedly boasts some of the most diverse and engaging committees, ranging from crisis-oriented simulations to mock trials, and provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the realm of national security and international relations. This year, our novel committees include an Emergency Summit on Yemen, a meeting of the heads of the U.S. Intelligence Community, the communist Julius & Ethel Rosenberg Trial, and the International Court of Justice: Kosovo.

Together, we will be working on ensuring that you have the best experience possible in your committees. We have selected a group of very intelligent and talented individuals to lead your committees as your crisis managers, chairs, and staff. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your chairs or us. Again, welcome to NAIMUN XLVIII, and we hope you are looking forward to what will be an exciting weekend of dynamic debate!

We look forward to meeting you in February!
