Payment
You may find your invoice for the conference by clicking on the “My Account” tab on the upper portion of the website and scrolling down to the bottom of the page. Payment can be made for the conference in one of two ways:
- By Check, please make all checks payable to: “Georgetown International Relations Association, Inc.” Please direct all payments to the following exact address:
- By Credit Card, If you indicated that you would prefer to pay by credit card when registering, you will soon receive an email invoice from Paypal allowing you to make payment. Please note that a 4% service charge applies.

- Regular Registration: November 23, 2011

- Late Payment Fees
- Before November 23, 2011: None
- November 23 – December 17, 2011: $50
- December 18, 2011 – January 14, 2012: $100
- January 15, 2012 – The Conference: $200
- Refund Policy
- Before November 23, 2011: Full refund on delegate fees
- November 23 – December 31, 2011: 50% refund on delegate fees
- January 1 – January 21, 2012: 25% refund on delegate fees
- After January 21, 2012: No refund
Requests for refund must be made to the Director of Registration, Christopher Stromeyer, who can be reached at naimun(at)modelun.org. Please note that no refunds can be made after January 21, 2012, regardless of weather or other circumstances.
*If you pre-register for the conference but fail to meet the pre-registration payment deadline, your fees will automatically change to the Regular Registration fees.
Special Circumstances
We understand that making some of the deadlines set by the conference can be difficult to achieve because of extenuating circumstances. Therefore, if you need to come up with an alternative payment plan, please work that out with our Director of Registration before due dates. By doing so, we can help you avoid higher fees or late fee penalties by missing deadlines.
