Dear Delegates,

Hello and welcome to General Assemblies for NAIMUN XLIX! As the biggest committees at NAIMUN, GA's challenge delegates to debate, caucus, and maneuver on the largest scales possible. This year, we will offer GA experiences that will build skills in leadership, create lasting friendships, and develop substantive knowledge. We hope you enjoy the complex yet rewarding characteristics of global politics embodied in GA's.

With this in mind, XLIX's GAs will range from traditional UN bodies such as DISEC, SOCHUM, SPECPOL and Legal, to innovative gatherings such as the Weimar Republic, NPT Review:2015 and the mysterious Bilderberg Group. This year's talented staff are committed to developing simulations that will facilitate contestation and compromise through engaging topics in world affairs and even a few crisis elements typically seen in smaller bodies. At NAIMUN XLIX, GA's are certain to provide a memorable, informative experience for delegates. So suit up and make it legendary! We eagerly await your arrival this February.
