Welcome to General Assemblies! More than any other organ in the United Nations, the General Assembly truly lives up to the promise of an international “Parliament of Men”: each nation has an equal voice. Where the questions are enormous and the repercussions are vast, the delegates must strongly represent their country’s position; however, each delegate must also maintain a worldly perspective that will give the delegate the most valuable tool of all: empathy and understanding. My name is Brandon Butterworth and I am the USG of General Assemblies, with Hannah Ensler-Rivel as dUSG.

In addition to General Assemblies, we have three specialized committees unique to this year’s NAIMUN. All three promise to innovate committee structure and provide the delegates with outstanding experience in pertinent issues of past and present.
Along with our truly incredible staff, we look forward to seeing you at NAIMUN XLVI!

Sincerely,

Brandon Butterworth
