About NAIMUN
The North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN) is the largest high school Model United Nations conference in the Western Hemisphere, drawing almost 3000 delegates and 250 faculty advisors from countries across the globe. Currently in its 47th year, NAIMUN has established itself as one of the premier conferences on the high-school Model UN circuit, boasting notable speakers such as former CIA lawyers, high-ranking ambassadors, and even Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations. This year, the conference will be held from February 11-14, 2010, at the Hilton Washington. The conference is presented by the Georgetown International Relations Association, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) run entirely by students of Georgetown University.
Why Sponsor NAIMUN?
NAIMUN is seeking corporate sponsorships in order to improve technological resources, expand out-of-committee programs, and widen the availability of scholarships for dedicated students who may not have the financial means to attend our conference. We hope that, through your generous sponsorship, NAIMUN can extend its philanthropic goals while helping you increase the size of your consumer base. Businesses in the DC area, as well as companies interested in targeting high-achieving high school students, would achieve significant exposure through marketing at NAIMUN.
The magnitude, diversity, and high level of shared interests of the student and adult population provide a unique opportunity to foster brand loyalty within an attentive audience. Listed in the sponsorship brochure are some of the myriad advertising opportunities your company or organization can enjoy at the conference. Prices are general guidelines.
