TARUN: NAMUN LIX

“NAIMUN was my first Model UN conference ever and I learned so much from it. I met such a diverse set of thinkers who challenged me to work in teams and debate like I had never done before. I will never forget waking up to hundreds of texts from newly formed committee group chats and feeling inspired to conquer our next ECOSOC committee session.”

JACK: NAIMUN LVIII, LIX

“NAIMUN is such a core experience for a high schooler to participate in. It’s not every day that you get to debate real-world, relevant issues with other like-minded young adults, and NAIMUN perfectly combines the fun and novelty of high school Model United Nations with the opportunity to showcase your skills and create a real change. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the future leaders of our world at past NAIMUNs, and it means so much to me that the staff at Georgetown puts so much effort into making every conference amazing.”

HAZEN: NAIMUN LIX

“NAIMUN was one of the most professional conferences I have attended, and despite only having gone once, I found it to easily be one of my favourite conferences of my four year Model UN career. Staff listened to the concerns of all delegates, and even when something went wrong as things do at every conference, a solution was quickly found that made the experience better than before…Overall, I would recommend NAIMUN to anyone looking for a strong collegiate Model UN experience: it's worth it.”

PHOEBE: NAIMUN LVI, LVII, & LVIII

“NAIMUN isn’t simply a high school Model UN conference. It’s a life-changing experience. As a three-time NAIMUN delegate, I made life-long friends from all over the world as we debated the most pressing issues of our time. NAIMUN made me more confident in my public speaking and writing skills, but also who I was as a leader and person. There is truly nothing else like it for high school students today.”

OLIVIA: NAIMUN LVII

“Participating in Press Corps at NAIMUN meant I was surrounded by people driven by the same curiosity and passion as me, leading to an incredibly fulfilling weekend, a lasting excitement for journalism, and a sense of belonging within a new community.”

ROMITA: NAIMUN LVI, LVII, & LVIII

“NAIMUN was the first time I felt treated like an adult — in the sense that I felt like I had agency and could apply my ideas to address real issues within a space that encouraged me to.”
