Seed Programs International
x NAIMUN LXII

Each year, NAIMUN welcomes over 3,300 high school students from around the world to participate in an educational conference that exposes delegates to a broad array of global issues and urges them to share their innovative solutions with their peers. This year, our team encourages delegates to take that perspective beyond their committees by highlighting the ever-present global issue of hunger and food insecurity.

NAIMUN LXII is proud to partner with Seed Programs International, a global nonprofit organization that works to enable access to quality seed, training, and resources to reduce hunger and poverty in communities around the world. Seed Programs International has worked with communities in 94 countries to bolster food security by implementing crop production programs and planting community gardens.

By partnering with this incredible organization, our team hopes that the collective contributions of NAIMUN’s delegates, staff, and advisors can make a tangible impact on communities around the world. Donations raised from this year’s conference will allow Seed Programs International to expand and fund their existing programs, as well as help new communities gain access to the quality seed, resources, and support that the organization has to offer.

Through this partnership, we hope that delegates will have the opportunity to use the skills and perspectives they develop in committee to help solve the global issue of food insecurity and poverty. The spirit of philanthropy is deeply rooted in Model UN and is a central tenet of NAIMUN, so we are so excited to share this fantastic organization with you all.
