It is our distinct pleasure to introduce the forty-ninth session of the North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN), which will be held February 16-19, 2012 in Washington, D.C.
Each year, NAIMUN provides nearly 3000 high school students with innovative committees that draw in delegates from across the globe to partake in high quality debate and experiences unique to our nation’s capital. At NAIMUN XLIX, we will continue to uphold the high standards of the Western Hemisphere’s largest and preeminent Model United Nations conference and introduce new initiatives to create a truly comprehensive and dynamic educational experience.
Registration for NAIMUN XLIX is now open. To assist you in the registration process, please watch our helpful instructional videos. Please also explore our website to learn more about all that NAIMUN has to offer, including intellectually stimulating committee offerings, financial aid and scholarship program, engaging out-of-committee programming, and expanded emphasis on social justice.
