ANNOUNCING CIEE MODEL UN GRANTS!

New in 2025, CIEE is partnering with NAIMUN LXII to reward the six best delegates of the conference with $10,000 in study abroad grants, distributed as follows:

  • The grand winner will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship to study abroad next summer with CIEE.

  • Five runners-up will be awarded $1,000 CIEE Global Navigator High School Summer Abroad scholarships.

All applications will be scored by CIEE and final winners will be picked and announced by NAIMUN leadership staff based on the performance of the students at the conference.

What programs can I apply to?

CIEE Model UN grants can be applied to any 2025 CIEE Global Navigator High School Summer Abroad program. To be considered for a CIEE Model UN grant, you are required to fill out a CIEE Global Navigator scholarship application, in which you will be able to rank your three favorite programs. Check out CIEE’s High School Summer Abroad program offerings.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR THE CIEE MODEL UN GRANTS?

Please note that to be considered for a CIEE Model UN grant, you need to be registered and attend the NAIMUN LXII conference in Washington, D.C., from February 13-16, 2025.

  1. Fill out this interest form.

  2. Complete a CIEE Global Navigator scholarship application by January 15, 2025.

  3. Register to and attend the NAIMUN LXII conference in Washington, D.C., February 13-16, 2025.

All applications will be reviewed by CIEE and considered for a standard CIEE Global Navigator scholarship if you meet the eligibility requirements (scholarship awards are based on academic merit and financial need and can cover $500 to 100% of tuition costs and can be combined with a CIEE Model grant).

Winners for the CIEE Model UN grants will be picked and announced during the NAIMUN conference, based both on the quality of their application and their performance at the conference.
